Ideas to Get Started

  • Provide comparison between molding simulation and the real molding practice.
  • Use simulation to solve complex injection molding problems.
  • Utilize on-site molding conditions to run simulation.


About Moldex3D Global Innovation Talent Award
The Moldex3D Global Innovation Talent Award is a CAE simulation application contest open to worldwide students and enterprises. The purpose of the Contest is to showcase and recognize innovative practices using Moldex3D solutions.

 

Happy 25th Anniversary

GITA 2020 coincides with the 25th anniversary of CoreTech System. To celebrate, we’ve raised the amount of winner prizing! The best submissions can win up to 6,000 USD and go to the Moldex3D Technology Conference (MTC) 2021 in Spain to accept the honor.

The winners and all accepted submissions will be recognized through Moldex3D’s website, social media channels, and other various of media channels. The winners and the top scoring entrants will receive world-wide media exposure. No Purchase Necessary.

First Prize
$6,000 USD		 Second Prize
$4,000 USD		 Third Prize
$2,000 USD		 Special Prize
$800 USD

*Each category (listed below) has its own first prize, second prize, and third prize.
*The special prizes will be selected from two categories on the basis of scoring results.
*CoreTech System will provide two-nights’ accommodation, a twin bedroom per team, in Spain and the tickets of MTC 2021 for the winners.
*Cash prize and accommodations are awarded on a team basis.
*Affected by COVID-19, MTC 2020 is cancelled. All winner benefits regard to MTC 2020 will change into MTC 2021.

The contest has two categories:

  • Business Category
  • Student Category
Entry Requirements

Each entry must include the following:

1. Project Descriptions (Template)
2. Project Report (Template) *Example of Project Report : Affordable High Precision Injection Molded Progressive Addition Lenses
3. Permission to Publish (Download)
OPTIONAL: Entrants are encouraged to submit CAD model(s), Part geometry (.stl or .step) and/or Mesh files (.3dm or .mdg files) for extra credit.

 

  • Entries must be sent by email to talentawards@moldex3d.com and received no later than 11:59 p.m. EST, on Friday, July 31, 2020.
  • If the entry is too large to send by email, upload it to Google Drive or another cloud storage and provide the download link to talentawards@moldex3d.com.
  • Incomplete entries will not be considered.
  • Only entries in English or Chinese will be accepted.
  • All submissions must use predominantly Moldex3D Solutions and showcase the benefits/ values of Moldex3D.
Evaluation Criteria

Entries will be reviewed by a judging panel consisting of top directors and executives from CoreTech System based on the following criteria. Entrants are encouraged to submit CAD model(s), Part geometry (.stl or .step) and/or Mesh files (.3dm or .mdg files) for extra credit.

Contest Rules
  • All Entries must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. EST, Friday, July 31, 2020.
  • All Entries and materials submitted to the Contest are considered public and will be used for marketing purposes. Entrants should ensure that their contest materials do not contain confidential or proprietary information.
  • Entrants must be currently enrolled/employed.
  • Entrants may participate individually or may form a team consisting of up to four (4) persons. Entrants cannot be members of more than one team.
  • CoreTech System Co., Ltd. reserves the right to adjust, postpone, cancel or extend the contest dates and prize as deemed necessary.
  • Contest rules and regulations are subject to change at the sole discretion of CoreTech System Co., Ltd.
