Columbus, OH – August 4, 2012 – CoreTech System (Moldex3D) Co., Ltd., the true 3D injection molding CAE simulation solution innovator unveiled the new Moldex3D Design Center at The Ohio State University. The new Design Center, located in the Baker Systems Building, focuses on the latest simulation technology explorations, studies, and training.
During its grand opening, about 40 industry professionals toured the facility and learned how the Moldex3D Design Center provides educational training for students and professionals in injection molding simulation technology. Professors at the University like Dr. Jose Castro of the Industrial Engineering department, also teach Moldex3D in the classroom to assist scholars in conducting research to benefit the injection molding industry. The collaboration includes multiple programs aimed at supporting Plastic Engineering education and preparing students for higher education and injection molding related careers.
