In high-pressure applications like injection molding, accurately predicting pressure loss across the entire system is critical for diagnosing and preventing molding issues. While many focus solely on maximum pressure values, it’s the pressure trends and contours that offer the most insight into flow behavior, imbalance, and potential defects.

This webinar will explore how to interpret pressure distribution more effectively using Moldex3D, helping you uncover root causes of issues such as short shots, warpage, or excessive clamp force requirements. Learn how to go beyond surface-level metrics and leverage full pressure analysis to make smarter design and process decisions—before you mold.

What Attendees Will Learn?

  • Learn how to identify and resolve discrepancies between simulated and actual pressure loss in injection molding, using Moldex3D’s advanced analysis tools.
  • Gain practical strategies to improve simulation accuracy through better material data, boundary condition settings, and interpretation of pressure contours and trends.
