พลาสติกชีวภาพ (Bioplastic) จึงเป็นอีกทางเลือกหนึ่งในการทดแทนการใช้พลาสติกโดยทั่วไปที่ผลิตจากปิโตรเลียมโดยตรง เนื่องจากมีสมบัติที่สามารถย่อยสลายได้ตามธรรมชาติ จึงเป็นการช่วยลดปัญหามลพิษที่เกิดจากขยะพลาสติกได้ อีกทั้งพลาสติกชีวภาพนั้นนับเป็นอุตสาหกรรมคลื่นลูกใหม่ (New Wave Industries) ที่มีอนาคต และเป็นอุตสาหกรรมที่มีความยั่งยืน อีกทั้งนานาประเทศทั่วโลกให้ความสำคัญกับปัญหาด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม
ด้วยเหตุนี้สถาบันไทย-เยอรมัน จึงได้จัดสัมมนาถ่ายทอดความรู้หัวข้อแม่พิมพ์ฉีดและการฉีดขึ้นรูปพลาสติกชีวภาพ : พลาสติกเพื่ออนาคตที่ยั่งยืน เพื่อเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันและช่วยพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมพลาสติกชีวภาพในประเทศไทยให้เจริญเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนต่อไป
วัตถุประสงค์
- เพื่อเผยแพร่องค์ความรู้ที่ถูกต้องทางด้านพลาสติกชีวภาพ กระบวนการผลิตพลาสติกชีวภาพ และการนำพลาสติกชีวภาพไปใช้งาน
- เพื่อเผยแพร่องค์ความรู้การประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยี CAE หรือ Computer Aided Engineering สำหรับการออกแบบแม่พิมพ์พลาสติกชีวภาพ การวิเคราะห์พฤติกรรมการไหลของพลาสติกชีวภาพ รวมไปถึงการตรวจสอบปัญหาที่อาจจะเกิดขึ้นในกระบวนการฉีดพลาสติกชีวภาพและนำไปแก้ปัญหาในงานจริงได้
- เพื่อส่งเสริมและพัฒนาในการนำความรู้ในด้านพลาสติกชีวภาพไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการผลิตชิ้นงานที่เป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อม
