HEEDS is a powerful design space exploration and optimization software package that interfaces with a large variety of commercial computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools to drive product innovation. In this webinar we will demonstrate how HEEDS can interface with Moldex3D by means of a general interface to automate the injection molding simulation process. A state-of-the-art automated search framework and post-processing technology will be applied to optimize an injection molding process for a part, whereas the resulting displacements are minimized by modifying several process parameters.
