Introduction
You may already know how to build and run simulations in Moldex3D. However, producing results that are truly reliable and ready for production requires more than simply clicking “Run”.
The 2026 Advanced Training Series is designed to explore the fundamentals of simulation in depth, focusing on the key factors that determine result reliability as well as the analytical and decision-making capabilities of engineers. From mastering critical input parameters in Moldex3D to interpreting complex injection molding phenomena, each topic aims to strengthen both the technical foundation and engineering mindset in a systematic way.
Through practical demonstrations and typical production scenarios, you will:
- Master the key input parameters in Moldex3D and understand how they affect the reliability of simulation results
- Identify and analyze injection molding defects, including weld lines, air traps, flow marks, sink marks, flow imbalance, stress, and deformation (including fiber-reinforced deformation)
- Convert processing conditions from CAE Mode to Machine Mode
- Apply optimization tools such as Molding Window Advisor and DOE & AI Optimization
- Build a foundation in iSLM and data-driven workflow management
- Master advanced techniques for multi-cavity mold systems
By the end of the 2026 program, you will not only understand what the simulation results show, but also why the results occur. This will enable engineers to make confident data-driven decisions, reduce errors, shorten development cycles, and elevate injection molding processes to a more professional standard.
The training series will be organized as monthly sessions, with each session focusing on addressing a specific challenge commonly encountered in simulation analysis.
