The lightweighting targets of automotive companies are driving interest in microcellular foaming options and the design flexibility and weight reductions enabled by these technologies. Simulation of microcellular foaming is a critical part of the implementation process. This webinar provides a brief review of the MuCell® process and examines a case study using the Moldex3D Microcellular Injection Molding simulation module to predict the results achieved by applying the MuCell® process to an injection molded application.
