Moldex3D will participate in 2015 India ATCx Design/Simulation as a silver level sponsor, and share the latest simulation technology for injection molding at our booth there. Mr. Suresh Ponraj, Technical Manager at Molde3D India Support Center, will also give a presentation on Effective Design Validation, Optimization of Plastic Parts and Molds, and Cooperation with HyperStudy and Radioss/OptiStruct.

The ATCx series will feature multi-physics simulation, a series of lightweighting events, as well as domain-specific events in automotive, aerospace, shipbuilding, and electronics. Some of the ATCx seminars will combine topics or be more general in nature, depending on the regional nature of industry and customer base.

Brief

To meet the high standard of product quality is the rapid-changing marketplace, the optimizations of both design validation and manufacturing processes play important roles. Moldex3D Expert provides fluent workflow to optimize molding process on multiple key factors, while Moldex3D FEA Interface, as well as Micromechanics Interface, enables to cooperate with lots types of stress solver, preprocessing tools, and material modeling software.

In this session, we will start with Moldex3D Expert, a simple workflow based module for setting up DOE and Optimization, and introduce some important quality indexes and design variables for optimizing the molding process parameters. Next, Moldex3D is combined with HyperStudy and Radioss/OptiStruct to not only improve the manufacturing process parameters, but also the structural performance of the design.
