A quick overview of how we use simulation from a mold design standpoint. With a focus on FSI(fluid structure interaction), more commonly known as core shift, as well as a focus on conformal cooling.
What Attendees Will Learn?
- They will learn the perspective of a mold designer when it comes to using simulation to assure a quality end product.
- They will learn how to set up an analysis to run FSI.
- They will learn about the effects of conformal cooling, and what applications might be best to explore using conformal cooling.
