Material properties are a significant source of recent and future improvement in the simulation world. Moldex3D uses a more theoretical approach to simulation, meaning that the solving of fundamental constituent equations must be carefully examined from a material definition to ensure that the matching between simulation and the real world is as accurate as possible.
There are many properties that exist within a singular material card, including Viscosity, PVT, thermal properties, mechanical properties, Crystallinity and Viscoelasticity, all of which impact how the results of Moldex3D would match reality.
What Attendees Will Learn?
- What material properties are available in each material card and how does that impact the analysis results?
- How can a material file be generated if the data doesn’t exist publicly?
