Capillary flow behavior in polymers is a common phenomenon during molding processes and can be quite challenging to handle. Surface tension, heat and geometry are usually the main parameters influencing this flow behavior especially in transfer molding processes. Defects such as overflow or voids / air traps are commonly associated with Capillary flow. Ability to simulate this flow behavior is huge beneficial for Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) of parts.
This webinar will showcase latest simulation technology on how to visualize such flow behavior as well as identify potential defects.
